ELKO, Nev. (AP) -- A former disc jockey at a West Wendover strip club has been sentenced to probation and jail time on drug charges.
Dwayne Peter Sutherland, 33, of Rock Springs, Wyo., sold methamphetamine and marijuana to undercover officers after the wife of former Wendover, Utah, Police Chief Vaughn Tripp suggested they go to him for drugs.
Sylvia Tripp, who went by the stage name "Ecstacy", was unaware the men were undercover officers. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail and five years probation on drug charges.
Sutherland was sentenced in June to three years probation with the first six months served in Elko County Jail. He must also pay a $455 fine.
