FARR WEST -- An Air Force veteran whose motorized wheelchair was stolen two weeks ago has died.

The Standard Examiner reports Bill Lamb, 67, of Farr West, passed away Sunday morning of natural causes. His wife, Vicki, told the paper he had been sick for a long time.

Syracuse resident Jim Ackerman donated a motorized wheelchair to Lamb after someone stole Lamb's wheelchair from his carport. Several other people also offered to help.

Lamb used the wheelchair because of severe arthritis.
