WEST VALLEY CITY -- Fire crews twice had to fight a fire at a West Valley home Sunday morning.
Fire officials say the home near 5400 West and 3100 South caught fire when someone was cooking. Firefighters were able to put it out quickly, and left.
A short time later, neighbors called 911 again, saying they still saw smoke. Fire crews returned to find some areas still smoldering.
They were able to put the remaining flames out before they could cause too much damage.
One woman was treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation.
