SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) -- Two mountain lions have been found roaming Utah County neighborhoods in recent days.
On Wednesday, a cougar that wandered into a family's Spanish Fork garage was trapped when the owner rolled the door down.
State fish-and-game officers tranquilized the mountain lion and released the animal back into the wild.
Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Cornell says another cougar fell into a basement window well at an Eagle Mountain home last weekend.
Before a sheriff's deputy could fire a tranquilizer gun, thecougar leaped out of the well and took off running.
That cat didn't get far. Another resident set his hound dog loose and cornered the cougar inside another window well, where it was tranquilized, captured and released into the mountains.
