(KSL News) Former members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints say Warren Jeffs still controls his church even though he's behind bars.
Seventeen people have visited the polygamist sect leader since he arrived at the Purgatory Correctional Facility.
His attorney has been to the jail 12 times.
His younger brother and personal secretary have seen him 10 times.
Two other FLDS church members have also visited.
Former members say visits from church elders show he's still in control of the church.
Jeffs is waiting to find out if he'll stand trial on two felony counts of rape as an accomplice.
