Gene Kennedy ReportingUtah skiers are loving the fresh powder that fell overnight. 20" of snow in the last 24 hours, with resorts expecting another 10" tonight.

The fresh snow is a shot in the arm for Utah ski resorts as a jumpstart to the holiday ski season.

Utah Skiers Hit the Slopes

Pete Martin, skier: "It's pretty good. Made a couple of runs. It's steep, it's good, it's light. It's really nice."

With excellent powder and virtually no lines, skiers had no complaints.

Steve Ludlow, skier: "I was surprised, I thought there'd be a lot of people up here with the holidays going on and everything, but so far it looks really good. No lines, nothing. How can you complain?"

Utah Skiers Hit the Slopes

Powder Mountain will be open tomorrow for night skiing from 4:00-10:00 PM. They are still evaluating if they have enough snow for day skiing.
