(KSL News) -- A man wanted for carjacking and shooting a West Point man has been caught.
Police had been looking for Michael Vasquez and others thought to be traveling with him. Vasguez is suspected of shooting Jimmy Castro in the stomach when he tried to stop him from stealing his car.
They've been on the run through Nevada, California, Idaho. Their car broke down in Laramie Wyoming.
Police told us they had already purchased bus tickets to Kansas.
They're in a Wyoming jail, awaiting extradition to Utah.
