OREM -- More college-aged students have decided to the best way to spend the summer months is stay in school.
At Utah Valley University summer enrollment jumped over 13 percent this year, making it the largest group of summer students they've ever had.
UVU Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management Michelle Taylor says one reason for more students is the economy.
"It's not as easy for them to go out and get a summer job," she said.
But she says it also has to do with the summer atmosphere; students are finding out the smaller classes mean more individualized attention from professors.
