LOGAN -- Another plea deal has been struck in the alcohol poisoning death of a Utah State University student.

Whitney Miller pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of supplying alcohol to a minor. In return, Cache County prosecutors agreed to drop a hazing charge.

Miller was one of 12 students charged in January.

Michael Starks, 18, was found not breathing at the Sigma Nu fraternity house last Nov. 21 after drinking in connection with a fraternity initiation. Later he was pronounced dead at the hospital. His blood alcohol level was four times the legal limit.

Miller is the third USU student to make a plea bargain in the case.
