(KSL News) -- Cars and guns kept police on their toes last night. The first happened in Salt Lake City.

Neighbors called police after a man in a Ford Explorer was spotted driving down a street, firing a gun out the window. From numerous descriptions, officers were able to track down and arrest Carlos Agular.

Det. Joe Cyr, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "Originally it came in as a road rage, but we had suspicions because we were led to believe that he was actually acquainted with the people he was firing at, and there are gang tires there."

The other incident happened on Bangerter Highway. Two men in trucks apparently were racing or having some sort of disagreement when one tried to force the other off the road -- and fired several shots.

Officers are still looking for a suspect in that case.
