ST. GEORGE -- A St. George man is behind bars, accused of trying to kill his ex-wife.
The woman contacted police Wednesday night claiming Glenn Dale Oquist had choked her during an argument.
She also said he had tried to keep her from leaving the house they still share and had broken her cell phone when she tried to call for help.
Officers said injuries on the woman's body confirmed her story. Oquist was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder.
