SALT LAKE CITY -- Jewish faithful gathered together tonight at the Jewish Community Center in Salt Lake to take part in the traditional passover seder meal.
The meal took place at sundown and commemorates the freedom and exodus of the Israelites from Egypt.
During the meal, food is eaten in a particular order and is symbolic to different portions of the exodus.
Passover lasts for eight days.
