Shoppers Stocking Up for Trick-or-Treaters

KSL Newsradio's Greg Neft reportingAs the ghouling hour approaches, people are hitting the stores to ensure they have enough sweet stuff to satisfy all the ghosts and goblins.

So does everybody else it being Halloween and all, the problem it seems,

"Very slim pickings, and I guarantee you by tonight there won't be any left," said Sugarhouse Shopko Manager Steve Wagaman. And he said as the night gets closer some people get desperate.

"You always got the last few people who didn't buy enough, or ate it while they were waiting for Halloween to come," said Wagaman, "They come rushing in, they didn't have enough. And sometimes they're grabbing full candy bars off our shelves."

And if you're one of those people, Wagaman has some advice.

"Get in as soon as you possibly can," he said.
