SOUTH SALT LAKE -- A 10-year-old boy was hit by a truck as he ran across the road Saturday afternoon.
Police say it appears the boy ran out into traffic on 3900 South and about 800 West shortly after 4 p.m. A truck headed west on 3900 South hit the boy.
He was flown to the hospital in stable condition.
Police closed the road for about an hour to investigate.
