SALT LAKE CITY -- A man was arrested for allegedly shooting another man outside a Salt Lake City home early Sunday morning.

Salt Lake City police officers were driving around at about 2 a.m. when they heard gunshots.
They rushed to 1000 W. 400 North and found a man who was shot sitting outside a house.
He's now in the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police arrested the suspected shooter, 18-year-old Alex Giron, and booked him in jail for attempted homicide.
