SALT LAKE CITY -- It will cost you more to visit Hogle Zoo.
The cost of an adult admission is now $9 instead of $8, and the cost of a child's entry is $7, up from $6. Children under two still get in for free.
Zoo officials say the increase will help cover the zoo's day-to-day operating costs, which have gone up in recent years.
This is the first time the zoo has raised admission prices in four years.
