(KSL News) -- One of the Herrin twins is out of Intensive Care after undergoing surgery to repair a bowel obstruction.
Maliyah Herrin is said to be upbeat and recovering well after the surgery last week. Her sister Kendra underwent similar surgery last month.
The girls were born conjoined at the abdomen and were separated during a 26-hour surgery in August.
The obstructions were caused by scar tissue from that surgery.
