SALT LAKE CITY-- Several accidents involving semi tractor-trailers tied up traffic Thursday morning.
A semi carrying gravel was eastbound on S.R. 201 around 7:40 a.m. It experienced brake problems and rolled while trying to turn onto southbound 8400 West.
The truck also slammed into another semi waiting on 8400 West to turn onto S.R. 201. The wreck closed 8400 West. No one was injured. The Utah Highway Patrol has not said if anyone will be cited.
Another tractor-trailer crashed on Interstate 84 at Highway 89 around 1 a.m. Crews closed the eastbound lanes throughout the morning while they cleared the wreck.
A semi rear-ended another vehicle on northbound Interstate 15 at 2700 South around 7:15 a.m. That backed up traffic between 4500 South and the I-80 interchange while crews cleared the road.
