(KSL News) Two teenage sisters were injured in a crash in West Valley City Monday afternoon.

The sisters collided with another car in the intersection at 5600 West and 5400 South just before 4 p.m. The passenger was flown to the hospital.

Accident leaves teen in critical condition

A woman who is 9 months pregnant was driving the blue Chevy Blazer. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The condition of the baby is unknown.

A man in the Blazer was not seriously injured.

Police say the sisters, in a silver Dodge Intrepid, were making a left hand turn off of 5600 West onto 5400 South when they were T-boned by the Blazer.

The police are not sure if the driver had a green arrow or should have yielded to oncoming traffic.

They are asking for witnesses to determine what exactly happened.
