(KSL News) In Kearns, a fire caused some serious damage to a home.
Firefighters say they saw heavy smoke and flames. The most extensive damage was in the bedroom, but there was smoke damage in the rest of the house.
No one was inside, just a dog that managed to run out.
Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire started.
