(KSL News) A Utah man died in a plane crash in Idaho.
Search crews found the plane Tuesday in a remote area of Elmore County, Idaho, between Twin Falls and Glenns Ferry. Officials said that's near the last place the pilot reportedly had radio or radar contact with air traffic control late Monday night.
The pilot was apparently bound for Bountiful when he crashed. Family members have confirmed that pilot Craig R. Jewett died in the crash.
An official with Caldwell Industrial Airport says the plane took off from his facility Tuesday night, bound for Bountiful, Utah.
