A man who claimed police used a Taser on him too many times has lost his case in federal court. It took a jury less than an hour to decide the officers were not at fault.
In 2005, three Utah Highway Patrol troopers and a Riverdale police officer stopped Anthony Rogers for driving under the influence. When they tried to arrest him, he fought back and forced them to use a Taser on him repeatedly.
Rogers claimed they used excessive force. Rogers' attorney had argued that dash-cam video of the incident was clear evidence.
However, he failed to convince a jury Rogers deserved monetary damages.
