(KSL News) Southbound I-15 has reopened following a series of weather-related accidents just south of Beaver that killed an infant and left seven people with minor injuries.

The Utah Highway Patrol says 22 vehicles, including six semis and one gas tanker, were involved in wrecks. One section of the gas tanker leaked, although the amount of fuel spilled isn't known right now. It was carrying 1,000 gallons of gasoline.

UHP says one infant died in the wrecks, and seven people received minor injuries.

Troopers closed the interstate at 3:45 p.m. in both directions between mile markers 95 and 109.
