(KSL News) A man accused of killing his mother and stuffing her body in a freezer is still incompetent to stand trial.

Yesterday a judge ruled Jeremy Hauck needs additional evaluation at the Utah State Hospital, where he's been for the last year.

A hospital report indicates he has made "some progress" but is still being examined for schizophrenia and autism.

Hauck is charged with murder in connection with Laura Hauck's shooting death in 2006.
