(KSL News) Approximately 30 soldiers from the Utah National Guard's 142nd Military Intelligence Battalion returned home from Afghanistan late this afternoon.
These soldiers are just the advance group of the main body, which is coming home after a year in Afghanistan. Their time overseas was spent supporting infantry groups with intelligence operations.
The remaining guardsmen of the 142nd are expected to return last next month.
