(KSL News) -- Time is money is the old saying and today a group of retired school professionals proved the point.
The Utah Retired School Employees Association presented Governor Huntsman with a symbolic check for more than 7-million dollars, representing close to 4-hundred thousand hours of unpaid volunteer work done by the group in 2005.
Volunteers worked in public schools, senior centers and day care centers, and also tutored students in a variety of subjects.
