(KSL News) A bad accident on Highland Drive near 5000 South left a man dead this evening. Witnesses say he was weaving in and out of traffic, perhaps due to health problems.
Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies say 66-year-old James Lowe's vehicle then veered into southbound lanes, hitting a Cadillac Escalade. His car was then hit by an SUV.
Six people were taken to local hospitals.
Investigators say Lowe was declared dead at the scene, but it's not clear yet whether he died from crash injuries or of a medical issue.
