(KSL News) Police believe a man wanted in connection with a murder in Weber County has fled the country.

Noemi Rodriguez's body was found in the Huntsville cemetery the day after Christmas. Since then, police have been looking for her ex-boyfriend, Gutberto Herras-Corrales, who has been named a person of interest in the case.

He is also charged with arson for starting a fire at Rodriguez's house one week before the murder.

The Desert News reports the Weber County Sheriff believes Herras-Corrales has fled to Mexico.
