(KSL News) A serious crash on Interstate 15 near Point of the Mountain sent a vehicle flying 40 feet down an embankment.

Troopers say a car appeared to be going slowly around 1 a.m. when an SUV slammed into the back of it. The impact pushed the car down the hill.
Two people were injured. One person was flown to the hospital.
Troopers shut northbound lanes on I-15 for more than an hour so the medical helicopter could land.
