(KSL News) A Utah couple will spend several years in prison for tax evasion.
Steven and Diane Christensen were each sentenced to three years in prison.
Prosecutors say they diverted as much as $7.5 million in tax deposits. They spent the money on luxury items such as vehicles, a home, stocks and jewelry.
Last year they pleaded guilty to filing false employer returns and tax evasion.
The Christensens ran various employee leasing and payroll businesses.
