(KSL News) A man considered a person of interest in the murder of his ex-girlfriend is now accused of burning down her house.
Layton police have issued an arrest warrant for Gutberto Heras-Corrales on charges of aggravated arson. They say he started a fire in the home of Noemi Rodriguez last month.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that one day before the fire, neighbors heard Heras-Corrales threaten to burn the home down during a fight.
One week after that fire Rodriguez was found murdered in the Huntsville cemetary.
Police are now trying to locate Heras-Corrales.
