(KSL News) An Ogden family lost their home after a propane leak caused it to explode.
Crews arrived to find the home engulfed in flames yesterday morning. Luckily, a father and his three children who were inside the home were on the opposite side of where the blast occurred and escaped unharmed.
An Ogden fire battalion chief told the Standard-Examiner that a turned-off propane heater in the home apparently leaked fumes, which then ignited.
Damage has been estimated at $100,000.
