(KSL News) A man who fled the scene after getting in a car accident with a police officer Saturday night is in jail.
Police say Travis Morrison was in a minor accident with an officer in Layton but drove away without stopping. Police chased him for a short time then stopped because of the icy roads.
Officers say Morrison later crashed into another car at 1700 West and Antelope Drive. He tried to run from the scene yet again, this time on foot.
Police arrested him a short time later in a nearby neighborhood.
