SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah art studio is turning blank canvases into mesmerizing waves of color, and it's drawing in the crowds. Dive into the world of Hawaii Fluid Art, a place where creativity flows and no paintbrush is required.

Nestled in downtown Salt Lake City at The Gateway, this location is relatively new. Launched in the summer of 2024, it's part of a growing national franchise.

Hawaii Fluid Art invites everyone, from first-time dabblers to seasoned creatives, to step into a world of swirling paint and unexpected beauty. At each session, participants pour acrylic pigments onto their canvases, tilt them, twist them and let the liquid magic do the rest. The results are unique, organic one-of-a-kind art pieces worth hanging on your wall.

You don't need any prior art skills to try it out. The art studio provides all the materials and gives step-by-step guidance so your masterpiece emerges naturally with all the fun and none of the frustration.

While the main event is the canvas work, there's more to choose from. At Hawaii Fluid Art, you can also create resin tumblers, beach scenes, hat patches and more, letting your creativity flow in many forms.

One thing to note: The paint needs time to dry. Depending on size and style, your finished piece might be ready to pick up later.

With its blend of art, surprise and hands-on fun, Hawaii Fluid Art is carving out a niche in Salt Lake's creative scene. No brushes, no rules, just pure flow.
