THE GAS STATION — The proliferation of AI in our world makes me doubt everything. You might see some high-flying video of a cliff diver doing jaw-dropping stunts and simply assume it's been altered. Or, on a more consequential level, if incriminating audio emerged of your favorite politician doing something dastardly, there'd be a good chance it was fake.

It's just too easy to change the way things look and sound using AI. So what can we believe anymore?

This strange little video caught my eye because I have no idea what's taking place in it.

The title of the video describes the motorcycle as "chrome" and the caption refers to the rider as a "mystery man." Which all sounds fishy to me. So is this just some cheesy clip using AI to make the motorcycle sparkle?

That's one theory that pops up in the comment section. And, I suppose it's valid— the motorcycle definitely has an other-worldly look to it.

Another person in the comments suggests the motorcycle had been wrapped in tinfoil. Hmmmmm. I'm not sure if I'm buying that version. How would you wrap each little component of the bike? And would it really create such a chrome-like sparkle?

If it's not AI or tin foil, what then? I think the final two theories shared in the video's comments are my favorites. Either this is Ghost Rider or it's some sort of cylon motorcycle.
