GERMANY — It's a time-honored tradition for teenagers to help each other sneak out at night. Summer is the perfect time for throwing rocks at your friends' windows to get their attention, and then assisting as they scamper across the roof and slide down the drainpipe.

And, it seems, just as "Stars – They're Just Like Us!" — horses are also just like us.

This friend-assisted jailbreak occurred in the small city of Plattenburg, Germany. My theory is the horses wanted to go visit the nearby Plattenburg Castle, which is one of the country's oldest water castles (dating back to at least 1319). That castle has a museum and lots of interesting features that would probably interest these horses. And, there are probably lots of carrots stored in the cellar.

"My Arabian gelding, Al Fayeed, frees his friend Noodle, a senior Percheron mare, from being tied by untying the knot of her lead rope," the caption explains.

All I can say is, Noodle is one lucky horse. We could all use a friend like Al Fayeed, who isn't afraid to get his hooves dirty and help others have a good time!
