The chase for the Stanley Cup is down to eight teams left in the NHL playoffs. The second round includes all teams in the top 10 in the league during the regular season, and a new winner is guaranteed after defending champion Vegas was eliminated by Western Conference top-seeded Dallas. Florida and Edmonton are the co-favorites on BetMGM Sportsbook to hoist the Cup, followed by Carolina, Dallas and the New York Rangers. The team favored to win each first round series did, including Colorado after not having home-ice advantage against Winnipeg.
