MONTANA — Throwing large chunks of ice from high places has been a human pastime since the Stone Age. While the size of the ice and the location of the throw may vary, it's always fun to watch the impact below.
There's a parking garage in my neighborhood and during the winter my kids ask on a daily basis if we can go toss ice from the top. It's honestly their favorite winter activity, even surpassing sledding.
While most ice chunks just splat when they hit a solid surface, sometimes there's a more artistic result. Check out this interesting little video.
According to the video description, this took place in Thompson Falls, Montana. The town is right on the beautiful Clark Fork River.
I think that this Zac fellow has found a much more interesting way to throw ice chunks — it certainly beats the ordinary splats we get when tossing ice from our local parking garage.
