SALT LAKE CITY — What a fun week of college football ... hopefully for your picks, too.

In four of the five games from the weekend, the favorite pick won the game, which is far better than last week's effort. Good job everybody!

The biggest surprise of the weekend was BYU losing to TCU on the road. The Horned Frogs got the job done at home and ruined the pick for 61% of all picks who had the Cougars as the winner (80.2% of BYU fans picked their beloved Cougars).

On the other end of the spectrum, 95% of all picks had Utah beating California, so no real surprise there. Even the averaged points earned there were a high 36-point average.

This week, Utah fan Kyle Lunt edged out BYU fan Brian Henderson by 1 point to claim the top spot on the Week 7 leaderboard. Lunt earned 205 points and Henderson earned 204 points. The two were marginally better than Utah fan Wayne Nunley (202 points), who rounded out the top three of the leaderboard.

Congrats to our winners, who will get a $100, $70 and $30 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union.

The overall winners of Pick'em this year will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place. So far, two BYU fans top the overall leaderboard, but there's a long season ahead.
