HARRISVILLE — A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Harrisville, according to police.

The collision occurred near 1197 N. Washington Boulevard on Thursday, Harrisville police said in a news release. A 50-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes, police said.

The driver was uninjured. The collision is still under investigation and more information was not provided.
