VIRGINIA — Most people know dogs love to go on walks, but did you know bearded dragons can love them too?
Meet Percy the Hiking Lizard, an internet sensation who has more than 42,000 followers. Percy is a bearded dragon who lives in Virginia with his mom, Valeriya.
In this video, you can see how Percy loves to go on walks outside his mom's house, he enjoys camping — and even has his own lizard-sized tent — and has even traveled to the Bean sculpture in Chicago.
Before my sister got her dragon, I had no idea lizards could have so much personality and attitude. But if you have any doubt that lizards have feelings, watching Percy and Valeriya will convince you.
My husband and I just bought a bearded dragon a few weeks ago and we are already so obsessed with our little pancake. We still have a long way to go to learn her personality and quirks, but watching this video gives me a few things to try with my baby, Rayla.
Whoever said a dog is man's best friend, clearly never owned a bearded dragon.
