PAWNEE CITY HALL — I'm not going to try and explain what's going on in the Pac-12 right now. I'll leave that to the experts like Jon Wilner and Co., but maybe our favorite fictional local government employees can simplify and lighten the situation a bit.
Utah fan @StatueOfWhitt posted a video on Twitter Wednesday labeling characters from "Parks and Recreation" as Pac-12 schools. USC and UCLA, represented by Ron Swanson, ask the other employees who broke the office coffee machine, labeled "Pac-12" in the video.
The schools, or characters rather, take turns blaming each other before USC/UCLA (Swanson) admits, "I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Good. It was getting a little chummy around here."

It's a strikingly poetic and accurate representation of the current state of the Pac-12, with USC and UCLA announcing their departure from the conference last summer and Colorado following their lead a year later.
One week later, it was reported that Stanford, Cal, Oregon and Washington were under consideration for membership in the Big Ten, followed by rumors of meetings held by Arizona and Arizona State to discuss their futures in the Pac-12.
