SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah State Board of Education is calling on the public to provide input regarding Utah's Core Standards.
"This is a great opportunity to inform future changes to the standards as the Utah State Board of Education conducts revisions in the coming years," the board said in a news release Friday.
The standards that the board is seeking feedback on include English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, world languages, driver education, physical education, health education, fine and performing arts, library media and preschool.

Anyone with feedback can submit a survey form.
"Your answers will help USBE (Utah State Board of Education) core standards and identify key concerns within particular content areas standards in future standards revisions," says the survey page.
Public input will be accepted through July 9, and the results of the survey will likely be discussed at the Utah Board of Education's next public meeting, which is currently scheduled for Aug. 3.
Current standards can be found online, here.
