LINDON — Police identified 18-year-old Dylan Smith as the man killed in a collision involving a car and a motorcycle in Lindon on Wednesday night.

The crash happened at the intersection of 700 North and State Street in Lindon about 7:28 p.m., according to Lindon Police Chief Mike Brower.

Smith, the motorcycle driver, died from his injuries. The driver of the car was being cooperative, Lindon police said.

Brower said initial information indicated speed may have been a contributing factor.
