SCARY BEACH — When I was a kid, I had a condition. I believe the medical term is scaredy cat. I had to sleep with a light on until I was about 12. I also had this weird thing where I could not sleep with my back to my bedroom door. Because if my back is to the door, how on earth will I see the murderer coming in to end me? I mean, sure, my eyes were closed, but still, I couldn't have my back to the door.

While I can now sleep in the dark and turn my back to my bedroom door, I still have a thing about having my back to people. At restaurants I have to sit where my back is facing the least amount of people, which drives my wife insane. Also, when I work, I can't set my desk up like a normal human being to look out the window; I need to ensure I am facing the door.

I guess this all means I don't like what I can't see. For these reasons and a lot more, I hate this video.

Toby Nichol, a construction worker from the U.K., flew his drone at Mullaloo Beach in Western Australia when he captured footage of a tiger shark swimming incredibly close to beachgoers. These people have no idea this huge shark is casually swimming only feet from them. According to the YouTube description, the beach was closed shortly after Nichol's footage was captured due to multiple shark sightings.

So, if you learn anything from me today, I hope it's this: Never have your back to the door at a restaurant because you never know when a tiger shark may swim through and surprise you.
