1. 1 shot by intruder overnight in Tooele County home, police say

A 21-year-old man was shot in a Tooele home early Sunday, police say. The man heard a noise in the home around 12:30 a.m. and walked upstairs to find a stranger in the house, police said. The intruder, who police believe might have been a burglar, then shot the 21-year old in the left shoulder.

2. Man leads police on multicounty chase before being arrested

Police have arrested one man after they said he shot at another vehicle and led police on a multicounty, high-speed chase on Sunday afternoon.

3. Idaho man killed in Ukraine was in the country caring for his partner, sister says

Idaho resident Jimmy Hill spent the last few weeks of his life in Ukraine doing what his sister says he did best: being a peacemaker and working to bring people together.

4. Utah Marine identified as man killed in Friday crash

The man killed Friday after being hit by a 14-year-old riding a dirt bike in Eagle Mountain has been identified as Caelan Lewis. Lewis, 19, was from Eagle Mountain, and family said he had returned from training as a U.S. Marine just before Christmas.

5. Payson woman gives birth on the same day as her dog

Have you ever heard of a woman and her dog giving birth on the same day? Well, now you have. On March 14, Sierra Draper of Payson gave birth to her second child, and her dog Pepper gave birth to her second litter.

1. Donovan Mitchell puts on a show in return to New York in Jazz win

Mitchell had 36 points, eight assists and six rebounds to lead the Jazz to a 108-93 victory over the Knicks Sunday.

The finishing touch? A driving one-handed slam that stopped a Knicks comeback.

2. 'Bombs away': George's career shooting night leads BYU to NIT quarterfinals

Gideon George poured in a career-high 27 points and six rebounds, and Trevin Knell added a season-high 15 points on five 3-pointers as the Cougars pulled away from Northern Iowa 90-71 Saturday night at the Marriott Center.

BYU will host Washington State with a spot in the NIT semifinals on the line Wednesday at 7 p.m. MDT.

3. Texas ends Utah women's NCAA Tourney run in 2nd round after dominant win

The second-seeded Longhorns shot 64% from the field and rolled to a 78-56 victory over a seventh-seeded Utah team in its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011 in the second round of the women's NCAA Tournament Sunday. It ended a good run for the Utes who are a year removed from a season where the program won only five games.

4. Led by Big East POY, 11th-seeded Villanova stuns BYU women to open NCAA Tourney

Maddy Siegrist, the Big East Player of the Year, poured in 25 points and seven rebounds to help 11th-seeded Villanova rally for a 61-57 win over sixth-seeded and 20th-ranked BYU at the Crisler Arena on the campus of the University of Michigan.

5. Real Salt Lake beats Nashville SC to stay undefeated

Tate Schmitt scored his second game-winning goal in as many games to lift Real Salt Lake to a 2-1 victory over visiting Nashville SC on Saturday night.
