SALT LAKE CITY — A silver alert for an endangered 53-year-old man last seen in the Federal Heights area of Salt Lake City has been canceled, the Department of Public Safety said Monday morning.

The man, Donald Leslie Brown, was last known to be in the area of 309 N. Fairfax Circle on the Limekiln Gulch Trail in Salt Lake City around 3 p.m. Sunday, police said.

He showed up at a friend's house early Monday, police reported. Brown was cold but wasn't injured.

"Thank you to everyone who helped with the search efforts," police said.
