HELPER — One person was transported by medical helicopter on Thursday after a motorcycle collision on state Route 264, just west of Skyline Mine.
According to the Helper Fire Department in a Facebook post, the collision occurred at about 11 a.m. and multiple agencies responded.
Skyline Mine EMTs responded to the scene and began patient care. The Helper Fire Department, Utah Highway Patrol, Carbon County Ambulance, Carbon County Sheriff's Office and Intermountain Life Flight all responded to the scene.
All agencies assisted with treating and stabilizing the patient prior to air transport to a hospital, according to the Helper Fire Department. The victim's condition and identity were not released.
