GUARDSMAN PASS — Wasatch County Search and Rescue crews had to call out for extra assistance for a snowmobile accident Sunday morning.
The Wasatch 911 dispatch center received a call reporting the accident around 10:30 a.m., according to a Facebook post from officials. A 50-year-old woman had crashed a rented snowmobile into a tree near the Guardsman Pass area and Midway Reservoir.

Wasatch County Fire and Intermountain Life Flight were both called to assist in the rescue.
"Injuries sustained in the accident required transport via medical helicopter from the scene," officials reported on Facebook.
Additional information on the woman's condition was not immediately released.
