THE PITCH — Let me take you back to a simpler time. A time when we could go anywhere we pleased, whenever we wanted. A time when the scariest thing about the airport was the price of checked luggage and you only wore a mask on Halloween. A time when sporting events were enjoyed in person and the term "bubble" only meant a small orb harmlessly floating through the sky. This is also a time when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were only dating and still a part of the Royal Family. And apparently, a time when the prince's security was really off its game.
This video takes us all the way back to the bygone year of 2017. Prince Harry was enjoying a rugby match and some popcorn, but little did he know there was a nefarious thief just inches away, taking his hard-earned snacks. Or at least the snacks someone in his entourage picked up for him. A little girl's sitting on her mother's lap right next to the prince started sneaking her little paw into the popcorn and kept sneaking some snacks for herself. Where is the security for the prince? This girl is stealing from him. I mean, she may as well be taking money right out of the United Kingdom's coffers.
Sure, you may tell me to calm down and realize it's just a little girl enjoying some hot, fresh popcorn, but what's next? It starts with popcorn, then the next thing you know Prince Harry's wallet is missing, his identity gets stolen and toddler is now the Queen of England. It happens that fast, people. Don't sleep on the little ones. They're much more clever than we give them credit for.
Also, the mom totally knows what's going on and doesn't do a thing to stop it. In fact, she just laughs. Don't misunderstand this. She isn't laughing because it's cute, she's laughing because she knows she will soon be a duchess with her own palace and all the popcorn she can handle.
Eventually, the prince catches on and tries to resist at first, but that little one's charm wins him over and he ends up sharing. Thankfully, he stopped her from getting his wallet or 2020 would have been even stranger than it already is.
